Presidents Arts-and-Crafts Show (Presidents day weekend): Wonderful works of art from artists throughout the Sierra.
April
Trout Fishing Season Opener (The last Saturday in April): After hibernating over winter, the fishermen and fisherwomen can't wait to stock their favorite game, the big one that got away.
May
Mule Days in Bishop (Memorial Day Weekend): More than 40,000 visitors participate in the festivities, including the longest non-motorized parade in the country. A mule rodeo with races, packing competition, roping and penning. Barbecues, big-name country/western entertainers, country dancing and more make this a fun time.

July

Fourth of July: Parades, Art Shows and Craft fairs all topped off with a grand fireworks show set to music over Crowley Lake.

Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee (July 12-16): Hot jazz in the cool Sierra. The jazz jubilee hosts two dozen bands and ten venues for the party of all parties. From Traditional, Dixie and Big Band to Zydeco and Swing, there's always something for everyone.

August

Sierra Summer Festival (August): This home-grown festival brings brought music to the mountains. From symphonies to brass bands, string quartets to folk and pops, enjoy a wide variety of inspirational events in beautiful settings.

Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza (August 4-6): Taste beers from some of the best breweries around including our own Mammoth Brewing Company, winner of several national awards, while you stroll among towering pines and listen to live blues music from many visiting groups.

Art à la Carte (August 19-20): Fine art, fine wines from over 20 California wineries, and gourmet food from some of Mammoth's finest restaurants in a delightful creekside setting make Art à la Carte a unique Mammoth Experience.

September

Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival (Labor Day Weekend): The Woods in Mammoth. Artists and crafters from around the west show their wears with live entertainment among the beautiful trees of the woods park in mammoth.

Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fair in Bishop (Labor Day Weekend)

Millpond Music Festival (September 15-17): Millpond County Park north of Bishop. Folk, Bluegrass, country music and more in the beautiful setting of millpond park with the Sierras as a backdrop.. Featuring top-name entertainers from around the country and many local artists too.

October

Fantastic Fall Colors: Throughout the Sierras, Aspens, Willows, Poplars and more in colors of yellow, orange and red form rivers of gold flowing down the slops of the High Sierra. A sight not to be missed.

Fall Colors Cruise and Car Show (October 6-8): Bishop Fair Grounds. Hundreds of classic cars and hot rods restored to pristine beauty from around California and Nevada. A trip back to the past.

Lone Pine Film Festival: (October 6-8) Relive those thrilling days of film yesteryear at one of America's premier western film events.

November

Ski Season Begins: Mammoth Mountain. The slopes open with fresh snow and high speed adventure.

Last day of Mono County Fishing Season (November 15)

Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Show: Beautiful work from talented artists throughout the Sierra and west.

December
Christmas and New Years: Art shows, concerts and a "White Christmas" make this a special time in the High Sierra, topped off with fireworks over Mammoth Mountain on New Year's Eve.
